Emeril Lagasse’s Creole Essence

A great all-around seasoning. Wonderful on steaks, pork chops, seafood, ribs, soups, and just about anything else you want to put it on. I use it a lot because Emeril taught me to kick it up a notch. Bam!


  • 2 1/2 T paprika

  • 2 T sea salt

  • 2 T garlic powder

  • 1 T ground black pepper

  • 1 T onion powder

  • 2 t cayenne pepper

  • 1 T dried leaf oregano

  • 1 T dry thyme


  • Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  • Store in an airtight container.
